AKA Doctor Barker
Fabricator and shaper of all things metal.
Phil brings his previous experience in the trade with a penchant for picking up new twists and skills as he goes. Ex RN Mechanical Electrical, his skill set has previously been used on Destroyers; he's toned it down somewhat for Classic Car Restoration.
Refinisher and Prep Tech
Pete has been involved with B&S since the tender age of 16. Now a grisled old man of 24, he's Novol for Classic Car trained and has many years of experience to call on already. This, combined with his taste in 70s rock does make us wonder if he's actually a 60 year old inside.
Prep and Paint Tech
Rhys joined us fresh from his previous work for a small but prestigious Swansea outfit, and is a graduate in Automotive Design. These combined factors make him very conscienscious and also able to repair GRP particularly well, thanks to the modelling work (car bodies, not human).
Peyman the Paint Tech
With a background in paint in his native Iran, Peyman's eye for detail and incredible work ethic was noted when he came to work for us on a temporary basis. He's now a valued permanent team member and still maintains that eye for detail in everything he does.
Mechanical Apprentice
With an underlying natural mechanical ability, Evan is being coached to finely hone his art.
HR and Reception
As the first face most see at B&S Jill has quite a varied job. A part-qualified AAT tech (that's what you need for Accounts...it's ok, I didn't know either) she keeps a tight hold of the purse strings and won't let Ged spend money on anything remotely "frivolous"
AKA General Dogsbody
(photo from c1997, you think I'm mad enough to put an up to date one up?).
Having worked on classic cars since he was 16, Ged's ambition to be an RAF Pilot came to a harsh end with a broken back at age 18, so after a stint at engineering, he put himself through college for his mechanical qualifications at aged 21. Now well over twice that age, he's realising that the body hasn't stood up well to years of abuse so tends to divide his time between the workshop and his office.
Tool-fetching assistant
A bit of a part-timer, and by far the most needy of all the staff, Frankie can often be found pestering anyone willing to give her attention, but only on her terms. Her lack of opposible thumbs has prevented her from progressing in the workshop.
